Ultra slim motorized filter wheel - only 0.7" thick!
USB controlled and powered - no additional power supply required
No motors protruding from the filter wheel to get in the way.
Measuring only 4.5" x 4.75" x 0.7", this is one of the smallest, thinnest motorized filter wheels on the market.
Only adds 19mm of back focus to the optical path when used with our adapters.
Perfect for our Basler Ace cameras.

  • T thread to T thread adapter
  • T thread to C thread adapter
  • T thread to 1.25" barrel adapter
  • 1.8M USB interface cable

The filter carousel is threaded for M28.5 x 0.6 filters. An optional carousel is available for M28.5 x 0.5 filters - please verify the specifications with the manufacturer. The maximum filter cell height which can be accommodated is 11mm, having thread length of no more than 4mm.

Download the current USB driver (32 bit and 64 bit).
Download the ASCOM driver and standalone utility for 32bit and 64bit. Current revision is 1.1.0.26.
Download the latest FW5125 firmware (2.2.0) for all filter wheel versions. Interim firmware 1.9.9 MUST be loaded prior to upgrading to version 2.2.0.
Download the interim firmware (1.9.9). This firmware must be loaded prior to upgrading to version 2.2.0 if upgrading from version 1.X.X.

    Today I recieved the filter wheel.
    Thank you for your quick handling.
    I checked movement, but did not have any problem.
    This filter wheel is worth being hard to change alone because a camera lens is usable.

    Today, I got a chance to actually play with the filter wheel, and I have to say, I'm impressed. After a bit of hand holding from Daniel, I had no problem getting the ASCOM drivers to work in Nebulosity, and in AstroArt. I then took several sequences using each of the 5 filters I had installed, (LRGBHa), and the wheel performed flawlessly, being controlled through Nebulosity, (ASCOM) and in AstroArt. . This is a great little wheel, especially considering the price. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

    The service of Daniel from Xagyl was excellent, fast and he answered all my questions very fast. The quality of the product exceeded my expectations: conectors, quality control, fit and finish. All my computers (W7, Vista and XP) recognized the filter wheel and I can use it via its own controller or via Maxim DL. Thank you, really great product!
